Welcome to Quickswap FAQ on the new quick token, Before I go further let’s talk about Quickswap.
QuickSwap is a fork of Uniswap, the first Automated Market Maker in the exploding Defi sector of the Cryptocurrency industry. QuickSwap has seen popularity due to the speed and low fees offered by the Polygon Network. It’s also compatible with the Ethereum blockchain, allowing you to swap ERC-20 tokens. There is, however, always the risk of impermanent loss. So, The Uniswap model has become a standard across different blockchains and Layer 2 platforms. QuickSwap provides the same functionality as Uniswap, but it’s based on the Polygon network instead of Ethereum. Although QuickSwap is a fork of Uniswap, key differences between the two have led to it being favoured by some users. Polygon is an infrastructure for creating Ethereum-compatible networks. These blockchains can also interact with one another, creating a layer 2 ecosystem of interconnected blockchains. The Polygon Network is the project’s official sidechain that works with a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism.
Now, the bottom line is this, The Polygon Network’s popularity comes from its speed as a scaling solution and cheap gas fees. Transaction fees are paid in MATIC tokens. As the network is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, developers can fork existing DApps (Decentralized Applications) such as Uniswap onto the side chain. Many users prefer Polygon for its quicker transaction times and extremely low fees. Liquidity providers and swappers enjoy Uniswap’s audited code with the advantages of the ERC-20 supporting Polygon Network. One large benefit is being able to trade ERC-20 tokens with a simple bridge, avoiding the higher fees of Ethereum. QuickSwap, therefore, provides a good balance between Ethereum compatibility, ease of use, and affordability.

Where can I convert my $Quick to the new one?
You can convert your OLD $QUICK token to the NEW $QUICK token on Quickswap beta UI or on the Quickswap legacy platform.

How to Convert Old QUICK to New QUICK on our New UI

Step 1: Connect your wallet
From QuickSwap’s User Interface, select “Connect Wallet” then choose your wallet from the menu that opens up. For the purposes of this tutorial, MetaMask was used to demonstrate — though the process will be similar for all wallets. Confirm the connection from your wallet pop-up.
Step 2: Convert Old QUICK to New QUICK
From QuickSwap’s new beta User Interface, click “Convert”.
Enter the amount of Old QUICK you’d like to convert, or press MAX. In the bottom window, you will see how much New QUICK you’ll receive for converting. Note: The ratio will always be 1 Old QUICK = 1000 New QUICK. Since I entered 50 Old QUICK, I will get back 50,000 New QUICK. When you’re ready, click “Approve”. Then confirm it in your wallet. After just a few moments, your Old QUICK will be converted to New QUICK.
Step 3: Add the New QUICK Token Contract Address
Now that you’ve converted, you have a brand new token, which your wallet won’t automatically recognize. You’ll have to manually add the new contract address. Scroll to the bottom of your wallet and select “Import tokens”.
In the first row, enter New QUICK’s token contract address 0xB5C064F955D8e7F38fE0460C556a72987494eE17.
the remaining fields will auto-populate. Then click “Add Custom Token” and “Import Token”.
You should now see your New QUICK in your wallet. Congratulations! You’re done!
How to Convert Old QUICK to New QUICK on Quickswap Legacy UI
Click here to visit Quickswap legacy UI. If you don’t see the “Convert” option at the top, you may need to hard refresh your browser. To do so, hold control (command) + shift + R.
Step 1: Connect your wallet
From QuickSwap’s User Interface, select “Connect Wallet” then choose your wallet from the menu that opens up. For the purposes of this tutorial, MetaMask was used to demonstrate — though the process will be similar for all wallets. Confirm the connection from your wallet pop-up.
Step 2: Convert Old QUICK to New QUICK
From QuickSwap’s legacy User Interface, click “Convert”.
Enter the amount of Old QUICK you’d like to convert, or press MAX. In the bottom window, you will see how much New QUICK you’ll receive for converting. Note: The ratio will always be 1 Old QUICK = 1000 New QUICK. Since I entered 0.2 Old QUICK, I will get back 200 New QUICK. When you’re ready, click “Convert”. Then confirm it in your wallet. After a few moments, your Old QUICK will be converted to New QUICK. You can ignore the “Approve” button on QuickSwap’s UI.
What happens to my QUICK on Binance? (Or any exchange)
For now, you don’t have to do anything if your token is on a centralized exchange like Binance, Coinbase and any other exchange that QUICK is listed. The centralized exchange where QUICK is listed will handle it. But if you can’t wait for the conversion on the centralized exchanges, then you can withdraw the OLD $Quick token to your Non-Custodian wallet and the use the Quickswap beta UI to convert it
What can I do with the new QUICK?
Quickswap has already introduced new Syrup Pools that are available only to new QUICK holders. They also have begun converting liquidity mining rewards to LPs for new Quick pairs. so you can check them out and stake your token

The New Quick token now has a total supply of 1,000,000,000
