Censorship

Monopoly thrives on centralized platforms, making censorship simple. As a result, GitHub’s flaw is stakeholders’ power to restrict whatever they choose, to the cost of developers. Meanwhile, On Gitopia, no central authority has the authority to shut down any repository. Rather, the community determines content policies and is in charge of platform moderation. In Gitopia, all platform-related decisions will be made transparently with the community’s input. Gitopia will be governed and secured by a decentralized network of validators and stakers. In Gitopia, there will be no central authority. They can cast votes on suggestions and help define Gitopia’s future.

No Product Growth Incentive

That means that if they experience a catastrophic occurrence (such as being hacked or having data leaked), they will be compensated. All of your code could be lost if they go bankrupt or announce that they’re going down. Because Gitopia uses a decentralized network, there will be no service disruptions. Gitopia’s decentralized network will deliver great availability and stability.

Incentivization for Open Source

Even though Open Source software is the backbone of practically all software, it is incentivized through sponsorship or intentional donations. Moreover. Because all cryptocurrency-based decentralized networks are open source, incentivizing them is a no-brainer.
